I purchased the complete studio recordings box set and thought "Man, I wish every band was this easy to collect".
I picked up the DVD the day it came out. Played the hell out of it showing it to all my friends. Even saw a Zeppelin cover band that weekend. The DVD is packed with extras including menu music.
Anyway, the Trampled Underfoot just flat out rocks!
Well...here it is...check it out

..traitor...

Long-time, no-see; how are you? As you can see from my reaction to your post, I'm the same thing as whenever it was we last conversed.

Repent before it's too late! [My Robert Plant experience was one weird afternoon, I must admit. ...shoulda seen the babe he was with ....confirmed my belief that God is a guy.]

I hope you are doing well, "ned the head;" I've missed your input here for a long, long time. Later,

Hey Ashes...I didn't want you to watch that video. After being sleepless for three days it be a bit much.

Really, the issue at hand (Jer v Page) can be distilled to the flamboyance factor. Zep was a flamboyant band from the costumes (see Pages dragon pants) to the music style. I think they sought a shock factor and what could be confused for talent and musical ability could be showboating. Never did see them live.

ned the head: twice in one day! Hey, I read a cool thing about Zep while tripping through the tulips of that exhibition. ...it stated that when they were "Big Time," they would shun all television appearances, etc. 'cuz they wanted to be close to the audience and have the audience feel the experience of the performance. That says a lot about them if it really is true... I cannot recall the source at this time.
